No, you do not need a referral to make an appointment with either a primary physician or a physician assistant. We are currently accepting new patients. However, for your visit to be covered through your insurance please contact your insurance provider to understand the terms of your policy.
It is recommended that your blood pressure be checked every two years after the age of 21. We also recommend annual check-ups with your primary physician after the age of 50 and frequent check-ups if you have additional risk factors. The most common risk factors for high blood pressure include family history, being overweight and having a high sodium or poor diet.
We believe that our staff members are leaders in providing patient-focused care. We take the time to listen to patients’ concerns and address any questions they may have. We are a physician’s clinic that values all of our patients and appreciates the long-lasting relationships we create with them.
If you have insurance, please bring in your card. We will collect your co-pay or co-insurance once you've met your deductible. As a courtesy to you we will bill your insurance plan, then any portion allowed but unpaid by your insurance will be due. If you are not insured, we require payment at the time of service. We strive to have all aspects of our practice, including our professional fees, reflect our ethical and rational approach to your care.
We require a 24 hour notice to cancel all appointments. Please be sure to contact us if you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment with your medical doctor to avoid having to pay a cancellation fee.
We take pride in our doctor-patient relationships and schedule plenty of time for you to get all of your questions answered. When labs or tests are scheduled, we also schedule a follow-up appointment for you to come in and sit down with the doctor to discuss your results. We want to make sure all of your questions are answered and you have a thorough understanding of what your results mean.
Yes, upon request we are able to provide you with copies of your test results.
We do set aside time for urgent visits. However, if you are having an extreme emergency, please dial 9-1-1, which will reach your area 911 operator.
